Hello from the beach in beautiful Acapulco!
It has been the usual hectic summer here. July and August is family vacation time for Mexicans, many of them from Mexico City, who make the three hour drive here to enjoy some time on the beach.
It has quieted down now, however, as the kids are all preparing to head back to school. September and October are generally very quiet, except for Revolution Day (Mexico's 4th of July) on September 15.
So, if you like the peace and quiet, come down anytime between now and early November. After that we are already nearing capacity for part of December and all of January and February. So if you are planning a vacation down here don't wait too long to reserve.
TRIP ADVISOR RATES US AS #1
We had been rated as the #2 "B&B or Inn" in Acapulco for the last year or so but after having received some more rave reviews of our units we have now been rated as #1 by Trip Advisor!
SUNSETS
One of the best things about living on the beach here in Acapulco are the sunsets. Here is a typical sunset view taken from one of our suites before the sun set and just as it was setting:
